Canaragua, a company belonging to Agbar and managing the complete water cycle in the Canary Islands, has concluded an agreement with the Japanese group ITOCHU, making it the water company’s strategic partner.
Canaragua is a Spanish company founded in 1990, with its headquarters on the Canary Islands and established in the archipelago. It is dedicated to integrated water cycle management and supplies thousands of people, as well as industrial companies, organisations, etc. It has also become a leader in the water sector thanks to its contribution in matters like knowledge, innovation and services for the development and implementation of sustainable water management solutions.
This operation means a new step for the Japanese group, which is expanding its activity in the water sector in Spain, identifying opportunities for growth in the sector. It is also the Spanish group’s partner in the water concession holder in Bristol (United Kingdom).
