As a key part of its strategic commitment to transparency, dedication and continuous improvement, SUEZ Water Spain has published its Sustainable Development Report 2015. The report, accessible in digital format (www.desarrollosostenible.agbar.com), compiles the company’s main actions, commitments and results in regard to the ten principles of its sustainable development policy.
The sustainability results and objectives for 2015 are of particular importance following the United Nations’ establishment that same year of the new Agenda for Sustainable Development, based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), and the approval of the Paris Agreement to fight climate change.
The content has been drawn up following the international standards of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) in order to report on sustainability in a clear and open manner and using common parameters. Furthermore, it has been verified externally by Ernst & Young, guaranteeing maximum precision and reliability for all data provided.
The report has been drawn up to respond to the need to measure, disseminate and be held accountable for sustainable development matters before internal and external stakeholders and to generate value through collaboration and transparency.
