On the occasion of World Environment Day, on 5 June, SUEZ Water Spain is publishing its 10 priority lines of action regarding its contribution to the environment.
The demographic evolution of the planet, with a steady upward trend, and the growth and industrialization of developing countries, represent a threat for the conservation of resources and the environment.
Demand for food, water and energy will increase considerably in the coming years and will oblige governments, society and companies to consider a strategy of Sustainable Development in order to conserve ecosystems and the environment.
To mitigate the possible effects of its activity on the environment, moreover aware of the potential positive impact arising from the benefits of the circular economy, SUEZ Water Spain undertakes to progress with its Sustainable Development model through 10 lines of action: Circular Economy, Complete Water Resource Management, RDI, Pacts against Climate Change, Biodiversity, Promotion of the Conservation of the Oceans, Diagnosis and Measurement of the Contribution to the Environment, Energy Reduction and Compensation, Education and Social Awareness and Management Based on Alliances.
