Agbar participated in the first Forum of the Dual Vocational Training (FP) Alliance, entitled “Dual vocational training in Spain: cooperate to train”, in which initiatives and experiences were shared that are being carried out to improve the employment of young people, backing synergies between companies and training.
During the meeting, the company analyzed the success factors of dual FP with a practical outlook on the opening round table. Other issues were likewise discussed, such as quality, regulation of the system, the importance of linking SMEs and the role of the company tutor.
Agbar is a member of the Executive Committee of the Vocational Training (FP) Alliance, its main functions being to define, approve, supervise and assess the operation and the activities of the Alliance and to develop the communications strategy and promote communication between the members, among other responsibilities.
The company likewise leads the work group “New qualifications and curricular adaptations”, with the aim of promoting agile mechanisms to adapt syllabuses to the skills required in the labour market and for dual FP students to subsequently have good employability options. Agbar moreover collaborates on the Communication, Big Companies and Clusters of Companies work groups, and also on the one concerning Knowledge and Innovation.
The Dual Vocational Training (FP) Alliance is a pioneering initiative of the Bertelsmann Foundation, in collaboration with the Princess of Girona Foundation, the Confederation of Employers and Industries of Spain (CEOE) and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, which seeks to promote a quality dual vocational training model adapted to the Spanish context.
The Forum, which was held in Palma de Mallorca, included the participation of the companies and institutions supporting the project of the Alliance, with the aim of exchanging information and views among them.
